OnePlus shows off new Nord CE phone not likely coming to the US
- OnePlus just shared an official image of the unreleased OnePlus Nord CE.
- The phone looks a lot like the main OnePlus Nord from last year but will feature some pared-down specs.
- The company will officially launch the phone with all details on June 10. It is unlikely the phone is coming to the United States.
Yesterday, OnePlus surprised us a bit by showing off its unreleased OnePlus Nord N200 smartphone. Now, the company is continuing with the surprises by giving us an official look at yet another unreleased phone.
This time, we’re getting a gander at the OnePlus Nord CE (which stands for “Core Edition”) through TechRadar. As the name suggests, this phone’s design is closely aligned with the main OnePlus Nord phone from last year. However, it won’t be as powerful and will be less expensive.
Check out the official image of the phone below.
OnePlus Nord CE official image
The image above shows the Nord CE in a color called “Blue Void.” OnePlus was mum on details surrounding the triple-lens camera (which is one fewer than on the main Nord). However, it’s very likely one will be a main, another will be an ultra-wide, with the third being a depth sensor.
OnePlus did confirm that the phone will feature Warp Charge 30T technology which is an updated version of Warp Charge 30. The company didn’t divulge what makes this better than the normal Warp Charge 30, but it likely still delivers 30W charging speeds. The phone will also feature a 90Hz display refresh rate and 5G connectivity.

Other rumored specs for the phone include a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, an in-display fingerprint reader, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a Snapdragon 750G chipset, and two RAM/storage options: 6GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB. OnePlus did not confirm or deny those specs to TechRadar.
The company did subtly hint that the OnePlus Nord CE won’t come to the United States, though. It confirmed that the phone is coming to Europe and India, so leaving out the US likely means it’s not coming here. For what it’s worth, the main Nord didn’t either, so that makes a lot of sense.
OnePlus will fully unveil the phone on June 10.
